Washington DC

This past weekend, Fashionable Earth was in Washington DC where we spread the word on how everyone can assist in activities to conserve the environment in ways which balance our own lives and communities.  We also listened to great panel discussions and talks presented by the International Environment Forum focusing on how humanity can “make use of the earth’s natural resources, both renewable and non-renewable, in a manner that ensures sustainability and equity into the distant reaches of time.”  Thank you to everyone who stopped and chatted with us, and especially those who bought a t-shirt!  We still have a limited number of both the “Rumi poem” and the “freedom” shirts left, so please let us know if you would like to purchase one.  Remember — all our t-shirts are either donated or recycled and proceeds go to important causes.  If you bought a shirt, send in a photo of you wearing it and we will feature it on our site!

After the overwhelming support in Washington DC, we have decided to commence a college tour, starting with colleges and universities in Southern California.  Our tour will educate students on what it means to be environmentally and socially responsible and how, through their decisions and actions, they can increase their power as consumers and decrease their carbon footprint.  If you would like Fashionable Earth to make an appearance at your school, please contact us!
