Emory Sustainable Food Fair

Last Friday, (in between floods and torrential downpour) Mother Nature smiled upon Atlanta and Fashionable Earth was able to attend Emory University’s annual Sustainable Food Fair, put on in collaboration with the Office of Sustainability Initiatives and Emory Dining.  The event showcased farmers, chefs, stores, nonprofits and other organizations working for a revitalized local food system.  It was wonderful to talk with so many dedicated groups knowledgeable about local sources of sustainably grown and certified organic foods, including some of the exhibitors, Mayfield Dairy, Dynamic Dish, The Green Bean Coffee Cart, H&F Bread Company, Animal Welfare Approved, White Oak Pastures, 4th and Swift, Sevananda Natural Foods Market, Slow Food USA, Restaurant Eugene, American Farmland Trust, Environmental Protection Agency Region 4, Georgia Organics, Rosebud, Steaz, Nature’s Garden Delivered, Arden’s Garden, Emory Dining Green Team, and many more.  Below please see some BlackBerry® snapshots.  Thank you all for educating us and the delightful samples – we look forward to all working together for a greener world!
