Real Denim on Melrose Place

melroseplacecast2009

On Tuesday night’s episode of Melrose Place, we were pleasantly surprised that one of the story lines revolved around a faux famous fashion designer’s new denim line, “Real Denim by Anton V”, which uses certified organic cotton, non-toxic dyes and zippers made from recycled copper — watch here at the 4 minute mark.  Perhaps the writers realize that eco-friendly fashion is no longer an aesthetic sacrifice?  Unfortunately, the new Melrose Place definitely is.  Sorry, cast, you all have nothing on Heather Locklear.  Ashlee, perhaps it is time to look for a new job?  We would recommend you as a model for Carol Malony!

Ah! The new Melrose Place – I’ve gone out of my way to avoid it – it’s kinda wrong rehashing it I think. How could you possibly beat the original? Still, good to hear they are giving eco friendly products the plug.
