Ears by Yasmin

Bunny ears are definitely one of the hot new “in” accessories – pair it with animal prints and you have wildlife covered! Bloggers all around the world have made DIY versions of the Louis Vuitton, Maison Michel or Erin Fetherson ears. However, most of these tend to be not so easy for the less-creative-inclined (using wire, lace, needle and thread). Our amazing Fashionable Earth intern from UC Berkeley, Yasmin, made her own simple ones, and is sharing the instructions so that everyone can look like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Madonna, Dita von Teese, Lady Gaga, Lily Allen or Marc Jacobs himself.

- Take a black headband and attach black pipe cleaners on either side
- Take cotton balls and stick them to the tip of each pipe cleaner
- Cut out ears from paper (4 circles) and outline the ears with sharpie and color pencil the inside with gray
- Place the cutout circles around each cotton ball to give the ears a full look … and stapled shut!

What a cutie! I’m crazy about all things ears lately and I ended up making a pair of bunny ears from a wire hanger and an old pair of tights, but mouse ears are next on my list!
