The Savvy Bag

I never took into account how many plastic bags I used daily for little things such as my groceries and shopping until I had one land on my windshield as I was driving on the 101.  It was then that it hit me (literally!), we often get a one time use out of plastic bags and then they are left to collect in some landfill.  With every year, Americans trash over 100 billion plastic bags and do not realize it takes over 700 years to decompose.  This is why reusable bags are really the better alternative.  More and more people are making the eco-friendly and fashionable choice by switching over.  With tons of styles and types of bags to use from, it allows for versatility in your daily life.  Whether you have to carry books to school or about to go on a shopping spree, by making one small change, you are saving hundreds and even thousands of plastic bags from being wasted and meeting their demise.  So next time you see a plastic bag, think to yourself if you were the one that put it there…
