Socks with Sandals?

When I used to study late nights at UCLA’s infamous “Club Powell” Library, I had opportunities for the best people-watching.  All different types of students: a diverse array of styles, attitudes and characteristics.  My biggest pet peeve from all the people-stalking?  Socks with sandals.  I just did not understand why socks were necessary with open-toe shoes.  If your feet were cold, why not just wear Uggs or Vans?  However, designers today are causing me to change my mind.  These cute socks look great with these amazing heels.  What do you all think?  Will this be the latest craze to go down the Powell catwalk during midterms?
