California Academy of Sciences

During the summer, some of us have extra time to be tourists and visit various attractions.  Here is one suggestion: the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park is the only place on the planet with an aquarium, a planetarium, a natural history museum, and a 4-story rainforest.  It was recently renovated last year, with the primary goal to provide a modern facility for education, exhibition, conservation and research under one roof.  Implementing eco-solutions, the building has natural ventilation instead of air conditioning, carefully chosen building materials, and efficient reuse of energy and water.  It just may be the greenest museum on the planet, and also one of the coolest places to visit!
