The Fashionable Earth Organization was founded by Tala Rezai with the idea that no one should have to give up style in order to be socially and environmentally responsible.  Tala felt that there had to be a fun and creative way to bring attention to the many pressing environmental, social and human challenges facing our world.  She was particularly inspired after reading the following quote from the writings of the Bahá’í Faith: “Man is organic with the world.  His inner life moulds the environment and is itself also deeply affected by it.  The one acts upon the other and every abiding change in the life of man is the result of these mutual reactions.”

After assembling a team of innovative and fresh thinkers, including Tammy Kazazi, Neda Rouhani and Neda Sargordan, they all began to form the concept for the Fashionable Earth Organization, and set their commitment to reduce, reuse and restyle.  It is their hope that they might encourage both consumers and producers to make sustainable lifestyle choices.
